The Exato Interface Handheld is an easy, compact control interface for an Exato cueing system. Based on the standard Exato Interface, the ruggedized Handheld simplifies the controls to those used most often for load in/out and permanent installations. The Exato Company also offers a software-customized variant for permanent installations, with user authorization level logins and pushbutton scene presets.
The Handheld is designed to handily survive wear-and-tear from a rock and roll load-in, a construction job site, and entertainment-specific environmental factors like hazer fluid. The proprietary Exato Board computer is entirely solid state, designed with redundant, independent industrial-grade processors and supercapacitor uninterruptible power supplies that withstand extreme heat and cold. The rugged buttons are the exact same as used on the Exato Drives, the resistive touch screen rejects accidental triggers from moisture, and the recessed screen bezel design is a first defense against large falling objects.
Cleaning is simple and easy – the IP51-rated case can be wiped down with a cloth damp with soapy water or isopropyl alcohol.
